IT services for Knoxville businesses
Six things a small office needs from an IT department. Take one, or take the bundle.
Day-to-day IT support
One flat monthly bill covers a person to call, computers kept updated, backups that really work, and calls to your other vendors on your behalf.
Learn moreProtection from scams, viruses and lost data
Practical safeguards that stop the problems that actually hit small businesses, plus help with the security paperwork your insurer keeps asking about.
Learn moreInternet and Wi-Fi that stay up
Wi-Fi planned around your floor plan, not a box left on its factory settings, with guest access kept safely separate.
Learn moreNeat, tested wiring
New network outlets, tidy equipment closets, and cables that are tested and labeled. The foundation of a reliable network, done in house.
Learn moreEmail and files that just work
Move to Microsoft 365, get the right licenses, and turn on the security protections Microsoft leaves switched off.
Learn moreHands-on help for moves and new spaces
Office moves, new-location setup, equipment upgrades, and local hands for IT companies without a Knoxville presence.
Learn moreHow the pieces fit
Most clients start with managed IT, which already covers the everyday security work, Microsoft 365 administration and keeping an eye on your network. Wiring, office moves and bigger network builds are quoted as one-time projects, so you never pay a monthly fee for work that only happens once.
Some clients only need one thing: wiring for a new suite, an email move before a hosting contract ends, or a Wi-Fi fix that three other people couldn't find. That's fine too. Every service here is available on its own.
Plain-English glossary
Technical terms you'll see on this site, and what they mean.
- Managed IT
- A flat monthly fee for ongoing care of your technology, instead of paying only when something breaks.
- Two-step sign-in (MFA)
- A second check, usually a code on your phone, when you sign in. It stops someone with a stolen password from getting in.
- Firewall
- The security gatekeeper between your office network and the internet.
- Backup and test restore
- A backup is a safe copy of your files. A test restore proves we can actually get them back.
- Access point
- The unit on a wall or ceiling that sends out your Wi-Fi.
- Network cabling (Cat6, Cat6A)
- The cables in your walls that connect desks, phones and Wi-Fi units. Cat6A is the thicker, faster, more future-proof grade.
- Network closet
- The small room or cabinet where all of your office's network cables end up.
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft's subscription for business email, Word and Excel, Teams and shared online file storage.
